Dates: November 25, 2011 – February 20, 2012 (Select Dates)
Transforming the large Laser Lawn into Atlanta’s only snow park, Snow Mountain’s signature attraction, a 400-foot long tubing hill, features more tubing lanes and two moving sidewalks this year. For more wintry fun, a SnowZone features play areas and activities, including snowman making, snowball fun, a sliding hill for toddlers and a bonfire for warming up and enjoying delicious, gooey s’mores.
Snow Mountain snow is created using a closed loop system of water obtained from Stone Mountain Lake and processed to a potable standard. Melted snow is returned to the lake via storm line drainage and no municipal water is used. In addition, Stone Mountain Park purchases green energy credits for the production power.
