Join us for the Alpharetta’s Largest Dinner Party at the 23rd Annual Taste of Alpharetta on Thursday, May 9th from 5pm to 10pm in the Historic District of Downtown Alpharetta encompassing Milton Avenue, Roswell Street, Old Roswell Street, Canton Street and Old Canton Street. More than 40,000 people attended the 2012 festival which has become Alpharetta’s biggest springtime event. The Taste of Alpharetta offers more than 40 restaurants, a culinary competition, live music, 3 Fun Zone Areas, and much more.
This FREE admission event invites patrons to purchase food and activity tickets – 10 tickets for $5 per sheet. Tickets can be redeemed at participating restaurant booths for a wide selection of tastes that will range from $.50 – $3. per sample. Alpharetta’s best loved restaurants will be on hand serving up their appetizers, entrees and dessert specialties and offering a diverse menu of options to satisfy every taste. 2013 participating restaurants include Atlantic Seafood Company, Heavenly Gourmet Popcorn, Seven Seas Mediterranean Café, La Casa Italian Grill, Lobster House, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt, Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails, Noche John’s Creek, Sip Wine, Seven Seas Mediterranean Café, Smokejack, Village Tavern, Wildflour, Bite Bistro & Bar, M Chocolat and more.
Tickets can also be redeemed in the event’s (3) family friendly Fun Zones for a variety of activities ranging from face painting and rock climbing walls, to inflatable’s, balloon art and henna tattoos.
Local chefs will square off on stage from 5pm – 7pm in our Culinary Competitions with Awards presented at 8pm for the top chefs. Competition categories include: Best Appetizer/Salad, Best Fast Casual Entree, Best Fine Dining Entrée, Best Dessert and Best Presentation. People’s Choice Award ballot will be available at the culinary competition tent through 7pm. There are no judging guidelines for this category. The restaurant with the most votes wins the People’s Choice Award, so stop by the culinary tent and place your vote!
Taste of Alpharetta offers FREE admission and is open to all ages. The event offers FREE Shuttles and Parking.
Park and Walk (no shuttle service): Police Athletic League / PAL (Access from Haynes Bridge Road just past Publix), and Milton Center (86 School Drive at Independence High School / old Milton High School).
Park and Shuttle: Wills Park Equestrian Center (on Wills Rd), Wills Park at Wacky World (on Old Milton Parkway to the right of the Alpharetta City Pool), and Publix (on 11800 Old Milton Pkwy at Haynes Bridge).
