Enjoy Independence Day weekend at the park
This 4th of July, head to Six Flags Over Georgia for a special celebration for the family. July 4th Fest, presented by Coca-Cola, will be the biggest Independence Day celebration in Atlanta. The event and activities will take place July 4 – 7, so you can spend the entire weekend celebrating the nation, enjoying music and entertainment, and of course, riding coasters.
July 4 will kick off with an exclusive ride time on some of our biggest rides. Anyone who presents any can of Coca-Cola, along with park admission or Season Pass, will be able to ride Goliath, Dare Devil Dive, BATMAN: The Ride, and Mind Bender one hour before the park opens, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Just exchange your can at the ticket booth or front gate to receive a wristband to ride.
All weekend long, the park will be festively decorated in red, white, and blue banners, flags, and balloons. Each day from 2 p.m. to close, stop by our Coca-Cola Open for Summer Zone to participate in games, dance contests, and entertaining activities, including water balloon juggling, Bocce Ball, and a hula-hoop contest, for your chance to win great prizes. A lively DJ will also be playing today’s hottest summertime hits and patriotic songs.
At the Coca-Cola Open for Summer Zone, you can also enter for your chance to win a VIP vacation package for four to enjoy special Atlanta activities. The winners will receive free admission to Six Flags Over Georgia and White Water, travel and lodging, souvenir cups, meal vouchers, THE FLASH Passes, admission to the World of Coca-Cola, and a VIP tour of the Coca-Cola Headquarters.
If you need a retreat from the warm weather, stay cool by sampling ice cold Coca-Cola beverages and standing under the shaded pavilion with cooling fans and refreshing misters. You can also make a splash with a ride on Log Jamboree.
Don’t forget to enjoy your traditional all-American barbeque at the park. Instead of standing over a grill in your backyard, pick up a juicy flame-broiled hamburger at Johnny Rockets Express, a jumbo hot dog from Lickskillet Grill, or a pulled pork sandwich from Daddy O’s.
We will also end the day with a bang on July 4 with a stunning fireworks extravaganza, presented by Coca-Cola, beginning at 9:30 p.m. The spectacular display will light up the night sky with vivid bursts of color and fiery special effects.
How will you be celebrating the 4th of July?
