Join the Easter Bunny as he makes his debut at the Alpharetta Welcome Center.
Stop in for an individual or family photo with the bunny of the hour. A photo will be printed onsite for you to take away and emailed instantly so you can share with family and friends. This is a free event and refreshments will be served. No reservations required. The photographer will be using a “green screen” so please do not wear the color green as it will interfere with the photo quality.
Limit one printed photo per family.
Acworth
The City of Acworth holds an annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Acworth Sports Complex, located at 4000 South Main St. The egg hunt will be held on the baseball fields and we ask all participants to please park on the baseball side of the complex. We will have concessions and activities before the hunt so make sure you arrive early.
Each year the hunt consists of 50,000 eggs and you won’t want to miss the Easter Bunnies grand entrance because they change it up each year!
The Acworth Egg Hunt is broken down into four age groups and the start times will alternate between fields.

Fernbank Museum Little Critters Day (formally Spring EGG-stravaganza)
Ring in spring with cute and cuddly baby animals. Discover the new life in bloom with seasonal crafts and activities—and don’t forget to visit the egg stations for special giveaways!
Fernbank’s Little Critters Day is included with museum admission and is free for members. This year’s event does not require timed tickets, but advanced reservations are recommended. All Spring EGG-stravaganza activities are included with Museum admission which is $18 for adults, $17 for seniors, $16 for children ages 3-12 and free for children ages 2 and under and Museum members.

Magic Mondays: Egg Hunt on the Farm
Keep your eyes peeled for a Magic Munday that includes an egg hunt!
In the Egg Hunt on the Farm program, celebrate springtime on the Smith Family Farm during our annual egg hunt. Join the search for colorful eggs hidden throughout the farm to win prizes. Participate in fun and games such as the peep toss, doing the bunny hop, and creating spring crafts. Hop on by and visit the Easter Bunny, too!
Each Magic Mondays program has a unique monthly theme designed for toddlers and preschoolers and includes a guided exploration of one of our award-winning exhibitions, historic houses, or Goizueta Gardens, as well as demonstrations, arts and crafts projects, and story time.

Bring your basket and your camera for a family friendly Easter egg hunt amidst Callanwolde’s beautiful spring gardens and grounds.
Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt features thousands of candy-filled eggs to find (including three golden “prize” eggs) and a chance to meet the Easter Bunny. There will be family friendly games, a LEGO building station provided by LEGOLAND Discovery Center, a face painter, The Home Depot station, and a kids’ dance floor (beats brought to you by J&M Sound Design DJ)!
An indoor bar will also be available with beer, wine, mimosas, coffee, hot chocolate, and soft drinks for sale.
Tickets are available here for $4, or at the door for $8. All kids and adults must have a ticket! We strongly recommend buying in advance, as tickets may sell out.

Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop
Bring the whole family out for the Annual Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop and get ready as more than 90,000 eggs and pieces of candy are spread out and dropped from a helicopter at the football fields at Sprayberry High School!
In addition to gathering up all the eggs, there will be candy, face painting and the Three-13 Salon, Spa and Boutique Kids Zone with inflatable slides and bounce houses for the toddlers and the older thrill seekers alike, unlimited rides can be purchased for only $7 per child. Roswell
Easter Egg Hunt at Smith Plantation Home

Spend the morning finding candy-filled treasures on the grounds of this historic home. Children should bring their own baskets. Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available.
Stone Mountain
The event began in 1944, before the land around Stone Mountain was officially owned by the State of Georgia. Lucille A. Lanford, from Stone Mountain First United Methodist Church, suggested that the church’s youth group climb to the top of Stone Mountain on Easter morning to watch the sunrise. The event grew from that one youth group to thousands ascending the mountain every Easter since.
The event is produced by The Stone Mountain Sunrise Association. Both services will feature sign language interpreters for hearing impaired guests.
Date: Easter Sunday
Time: 7:00 a.m. (Park Gates and Summit Skyride open at 4:00 a.m.) Please allow an extra hour or more for large crowds.
Tickets: Vehicle entry to the park is $15 for a one-day permit or $40 for annual permit. Church vans and buses enter free. Skyride fees are $12 for round-trip and $7 for one-way. There are no fees for the walk-up trail to the top of the mountain. For visitors staying the day, they can purchase the Adventure Pass for $31.95 plus for adults and $25.95 plus tax for children.
