After you get done with a day of Apple Picking in North Georgia you can also get your Pumpkin while you are up there. Something me and my family has been doing since before we even moved to Georgia is coming to North Georgia for fall. Apple picking, leaf looking in the mountains, and pumpkin farms. It’s my favorite time of year!
The one place that I hope everyone knows about at this point is Burt’s Pumpkin Farm. It’s one of the only places you can get a 150 lb pumpkin. We take the whole extended family to take fall pictures, enjoy a hayride, and some of the best cheddar popcorn.

This is one of my favorite pumpkin farms in all of Georgia. I have been going to this place since I was a little girl, even before moving to Georgia. We would visit while visiting from Florida! It’s that good. If you like taking fall pictures with your family, this is the place to do it. They even set of photo backdrop scenes with hay bails, pumpkins, scarecrows and more. This is an annual family tradition for us that we never skip.
Admission is FREE and hayrides are $6 and free for children under 2.
